시각장애인 주거모형 개발을 위한 주거조사 체크리스트 개발

As the number of Koreans age 65 and older increase, the number of seniors living with sight loss is also growing due to age-related eye diseases. Housing can allow people with sight loss to remain independent, safe, and more in control for their daily living. The purpose of this study is to develop checklist to investigate housing conditions for the people with sight loss in order for them to evaluate housing conditions, and modify homes to remain safe and independent. We explore similarities and differences in several regulations and guidelines for housing for sight loss. As a result of this study, we provide a checklist and design guidelines for housing for the vision impaired.
