Diagnosis Approach Based on Minimal Cut Sets of Fault Trees

The fault of equipment system is diagnosticated with diagnosis method based on minimal cut sets of fault trees. Fault tree was built and reduced by module and Faunet arithmetic, and minimal cut sets were solved from the reduced fault tree. Minimal cut sets were tested according to first test principle of important minimal cut sets, and important degree of minimal cut sets were regulated to find out fault reason source. The fault phenomena were inputted in the course of diagnosis, the system automatically finds out matching top event to produce top event fault tree and the minimal cut sets were computed. The course of diagnosis was realized by VC visual program.
