This paper presents muti-body response analysis of SUTA (Subsea Umbilical Termination Assembly) installation based on JONSWAP wave spectrum using OrcaFlex. Screening analysis is conducted in order to find out the optimal heading angle and most conservative zeroup-crossing period for conducting of lowering operations. Time domain simulation of three hours is performed for four typical stages in order to obtain the dynamic tension of crane wire rope as well as the response of SUTA. The result gives the allowable significant wave heights for installation.
