Vowel Hiatus and Faithfulness In Tohono O'Odham Reduplication

L'A. s'interesse au phenomene de reduplication et, particulierement, aux relations entre la base et l'element repete. La Theorie de l'Optimalite utilise la notion de contraintes de fidelite pour etablir des regles de regulations de ces relations. McCarthy et Prince (1999) ont avance deux modeles caracterisant la reduplication et les contraintes d'ordonnancement des affixes par rapport a la base : le Modele Basique et le Modele Integral. L'A. etudie la pertinence de ces modeles pour la description de la reduplication (accompagnee d'un phenomene de hiatus vocalique) en tohono o'odham (papago), une langue uto-aztec
