Comprehensive assessment on development and application of solar technologies based on analytic hierarchy process

Solar energy is regarded as the most promising resource, and its application is critical to establish global energy interconnection. The paper sets up the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model for comprehensive assessment of solar energy technology, and assess the development and application of solar energy technologies, including concentrating solar thermal power(CSP), photovoltaic(PV) power generation, solar heating, solar cooling, solar fuels, etc. According to the comprehensive assessment results, the paper determines priorities, analyzes the advantages and drawbacks of various technologies, and proposes the countermeasures on the further developing of solar energy technologies.
