Chance constrained programming approach to aggregate production planning

This paper focuses on a chance constrained programming approach in modeling and optimization for aggregate production planning problems with multiproduct under fuzzy demands, fuzzy capacities and financial constraints environment. By means of chance constrained programming a demandmeeting likelihood profile function is constructed and some properties of the likelihood profile are subsequently discussed. As a result, multiproduct aggregate production planning problem with fuzzy demand can be modeled into a chance constrained programming problem. An overall procedure in solving model is also proposed in this paper. This approach offers decisionmaker more flexible in making a reasonable plan under different criteria in fuzzy environment.
