Static series compensator for voltage dip mitigation with zero-sequence injection capability

In this paper, a static series compensator (SSC) for performing compensation of voltage dips including a zero-sequence component is presented. The control strategy is based on a feedback action, thus achieving series compensation independent on the system parameters and their variations. Simulated results demonstrate the dip mitigation performance and are used to define the characteristics of a prototype realisation. Experimental results will be included in the final version of the paper.
