Improved Switching Stabilization of Discrete-Time Takagi-Sugeno Systems via An Enhanced Gain-scheduling Mechanism

An improved fuzzy switching controller is proposed to enhance switching stabilization of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy plants, which takes into account the membership information of the normalized fuzzy weighting functions of all the sampling times to get the pair of control gain matrices. Compared with the recent research results, the conservatism of the system is reduced and the control effect become better under the condition that the offline computing burden is increased but still affordable. Therefore, it has a wider application than previous papers because of the larger system controllable interval. Finally, numerical simulations display the effectiveness of the proposed design.
