An optimal guidance law for interception of maneuvering targets

For KKV without an orbit control engine along its longitudinal axis, an OGL is developed based on the linear kinematical model of space interception, by adopting a new time to go algorithm. Using OGL and PN, the computer simulations have been done for the case of plane interception, and the results show that OGL has better performance than PN while intercepting maneuvering targets.
