A Study on Translation of Hydroelectric Text from the Perspective of "The Belt and Road Initiative"

this paper focuses on translation of hydroelectric text, deeply analyzes the language features and translation difficulties, as well as further puts forward specific translation methods. The English text of hydroelectric has its own distinctive features in vocabulary, syntax and language expression. Therefore, this paper makes a detailed study on these three aspects. Then, through a large number of examples about translation of hydroelectric English text, I summarize the translation strategies which have been used in the process of translation, such as addition, deletion, literal translation, free translation, comprehensive translation and so on.
