A portable electromagnetic localization method for micro devices in vivo

Micro invasive medical devices have being show great potency in clinical application. But the localization problem hasnpsilat been settled still, restraining development of the micro invasive devices. Aiming at positioning the gastrointestinal physiological parameters detecting capsule, the paper puts forward a portable AC electromagnetic localization method for micro gastrointestinal invasive diagnosing devices. Firstly, we build up the quasi-static magnetic field model of a coil to calculate magnetic flux density, and solutes the positioning equations based on the simulated annealing algorithm. Finally from the experimentpsilas results, the accuracy of portable positioning system is less than 10 mm, which can satisfy the localization need of the micro invasive devices in vivo.
