PLEUDO BOND GRAPH TECHNIQUE APPLIED TO MODELLING MARINE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS

Two typical marine dynamic systems are modelled using pleudo bond graph to show the usefulness of the technique, the difficulties encountered and the ways and means by which more realistic models can be obtained. A large marine boiler and a four stroke marine diesel engine are taken as the objects of research for which the non-linear mathematical models are formulated. Modelling philosophy is emphasised and simulation results are discussed.
