Health Evaluation Approach Based on Fuzzy Data Fusion

The theory based on multi-sensor information fusion for the health condition evaluation of watercraft diesel engine cooling system was studied.The concept of health degree was defined,which was used as a quantitative index to evaluate the health condition of the watercraft diesel engine cooling system.The method of fuzzy data fusion was used to calculate the health degree,and the weight of each monitoring sensor was calculated by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),then,the multi-sensor data were fused by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Based on these,the health condition evaluation system of watercraft diesel engine cooling system was set up which can give the health degree and health condition grade of the system.Experimental results show that this approach can evaluate the health condition of the cooling system quantitatively and properly.
