Virtual Prototype Design and Analysis of Four-Cylinder Engine

In order to reduce manufacture costs and shorten the manufacture cycle, the virtual prototype of four - cylinder engine based on Pro/engineer was designed; At the same time, by their simulation analysis, the interference and rationality of the movement was checked and the important parameters and the Graphic datas of the four-cylinder engine were got, including a finite element analysis to crankshaft connecting rod. The results of the analysis lay the foundation for the further design and manufacturing of the physical prototype.
