Finding Interesting Places and Characteristic Patterns in Spatio-Temporal Trajectories

Trajectory data often includes knowledge about the movement and the behavior of individuals, which is useful for analyzing problems in domains like animal migration or security. In this paper we present an approach to identify interesting places and determine unusual behavior of individuals from large amounts of trajectory data.
