Measurement of Active Circuits

This work presents numerous measurement results of active components, mainly LNAs, mixers, and receivers. The underlying measurement principles are described in this chapter. Section D.1 presents a brief overview about the measurement techniques used in this work. Since the majority of the presented circuits implement differential signaling, differential measurement setups are considered in the following sections. Section D.2 describes LNA measurements, whilst section D.3 presents the basic mixer and receiver measurements.
