Bologna Process: Total Quality Management and the Need to Define the Purposes of Engineering Education

The 21st century has brought to the forefront of education the task of generating the professionals required by the ever-changing technological workplace. To meet these needs, universities offering degrees in engineering will have to adapt their curricula to bring them in line with the Bologna process. We also present a model that can be used for instituting changes in the curriculum.
