Screen controlling apparatus and method thereof for mobile terminal

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a picture of a mobile communications terminal facilitating multitasking through screens is provided to maximize the utilization of the mobile terminal of a touch screen type by partition of the touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) displays an icon. The screen partitions with the touch of icon to two or more screens. If the icon of the display unit is touched, a touch screen unit(120) senses the touch. The touch screen area generates the input signal. A control signal controls the display of two or more screens partitioning in the display unit.
