The NMSU solar furnace facility

The solar furnace test facility at New Mexico State University is described in this paper. The facility is a replica of the 30 kW facility at White Sands and the 1 MW facility in Odeillo, France but on a reduced scale. A proposed furnace which utilizes a vertical beam is also described.
