Analyse und Evaluierung der Nutzung von Sitelinks

This article deals with the effects of sitelinks on user’s search behavior. Results of a user test show an ambiguous picture. On the one hand, the use of sitelinks may reduce search time. On the other hand, users often do not use the links. So the question remains if sitelinks can be judged as a valuable component of search engine results descriptions or if they are an element that unnecessarily reduces the already restricted space on result pages. 358 Nadine Mahrholz, Thomas Mandl, Joachim Griesbaum
