Device for increasing cell capacity using adaptive sectorization in mobile communication system and control method thereof

PURPOSE: A device for increasing a cell capacity using adaptive sectorization in a mobile communication system and a controlling method therefor are provided to apply the adaptive sectorization to a mobile communication base station, and to improve unbalanced traffic amounts between sectors in accordance with distributed users, thereby increasing the cell capacity. CONSTITUTION: An adaptive sectorization unit(100) switches paths corresponding to changing beams of each sector to lower sectors from high sectors relating to distributed users, converts a 2-path RF signal into a beam signal, or converts the beam signal into the 2-path RF signal. An analog beam forming unit(200) forms each sector in multi beams, converts the beam signal into an antenna signal in a downlink, and converts the antenna signal into the beam signal in an uplink. A power amplifier(300) inputs the antenna signal, amplifies power, and outputs the power. A front end unit(400) removes noise from the antenna signal in the downlink or the uplink, filters the antenna signal, and transmits/receives the signal through multiple array antennas(500).
