MULTIREGION HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS FOR DISPLACED CENTRAL, CORNER, AND SIDE ELEMENTS OF UNBAFFLED LMFBR FUEL ROD BUNDLES.

Abstract Some results of a single-rod multiregion analysis for fully developed slug-flow heat transfer to displaced central, corner and side elements of LMFBR fuel rod bundles are presented. The analysis has been performed under the assumption that the heat generation within the fuel may be taken constant and thermal resistances at the interfaces may be neglected.
