Modeling and Control of Coal-pulverizing Systems with Ball Mill

Coal-pulverizing systems with ball mill and storage banker have characteristis of strong coupling , nonlinearity, time-varying systems, and great changes in operating condition s. The automatic control problem has been studied for a long period but it is st ill unsolved. It introduces the characteristic and principle of coal-pulverizin g systems with ball mill in detail. Mathematic modeling and several advanced con trol techniques of such systems are analyzed and compared with each other. Advan tages, disadvantages and adaptations of these control methods are described. It is pointed out that intelligen t multivariable decoupling control technology is an effective tool to solve the automatic problem of coal-pulverizing systems with ball mill.
