Interval Optimal Power Flow Model and Its Monte Carlo Method for AC/DC Hybrid Power System with Wind Power

An interval optimal power flow (IOPF) model for AC/DC hybrid power system considering wind power fluctuations is proposed in this paper. In the model, the output of wind farms and bus load power are described by interval numbers to characterize their stochastic property. Then, a computational framework combined the Monte Carlo (MC) method and interior point method is presented to solve this problem. The proposed model and method is illustrated on IEEE-118-bus system. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.
