Study on the Comparison of FrameNet WordNet VerbNet

As semantic dictionaries,FrameNet、WordNet、VerbNet have been widely applied in the field of natural language processing and electronic lexicography.These three types of semantic dictionaries express their own concepts and semantic relations from different angles,they support each other and build the mutual mapping,they together provide a wealth of knowledge resources for semantic analysis,but the building-the- ories of these semantic dictionaries are different,so in this paper,we make a detailed comparison about this three semantic dictionaries from the theoretical foundation、structure、semantic relation and application,clear the differences in their respective focus and help the users make better use.
