Performance analysis of a tour scheduler allocating limited time-dependent gains

This paper presents a tour scheduler capable of maximizing time-dependent gains, such as coupons and discount plans, by intelligently deciding the visiting sequence for electric vehicles, and then measures its performance via prototype implementation. The scheduler maintains a coupon table and assigns coupons according to the tour schedule request. A tour schedule is created by means of an exhaustive search checking the tolerable waiting time and coupon availability for a destination on a time slot. The simulation result shows that even the first vehicle takes the dominant amount of available coupons, the second and the third vehicles get about 20 % of their previous requesters, especially when the number of destinations is larger or equal to 8.
