Early differentiation between caries and tooth demineralization using laser‐induced autofluorescence spectroscopy

The intrinsic fluorescence of carious human teeth, of different stages of teeth demineralization, and the correspondence of such fluorescence to the mineral and organic distribution within the lesions were investigated.
