Finite axisymmetric deformations with torsion of an initially cylindrical membrane reinforced with one family inextensible cords

Abstract We consider the axisymmetric deformation with torsion of an initially cylindrical membrane of Mooney-Rivlin material and reinforced by one family of perfectly flexible and inextensible helicoidal cords. The system of differential equations is solved numerically.
