El ordenamiento territorial en zonas de montaña

The research project for the Land Management Lerma Valley (Salta, Argentina), includes both areas of the valley itself and high areas (dividing up the watershed approximately 2000 m to 4500 m towards E and O). This raises the need for a socio-economic diagnosis. The goal is an approximation to the real system through direct observation and interaction with locals. Interested in developing a model cognocitivo scenario considering the current and potential problems associated with quality of life, land use and natural resources, the prospects for local people and the trend of productive activities. The ultimate goal is to develop proposals for improving the quality of life and economic development in a context of creativity and respect, if we are to sign the foundation for the conservation and enhancement of these areas. Secondary information available on the upland areas is almost nonexistent, so it intends to make field trips to areas of high to geo tours, sites of cultural and natural features, infrastructure and communities scattered along the observation and registration of problems and potentials associated with the use of resources, visits to local residents, open interviews and participation in everyday activities.
