Design of near field UHF RFID reader antenna integrated into clothing

A segmented circular loop antenna designed for near-field UHF RFID applications is presented. The antenna has the form of a bracelet and it can be integrated directly into clothes. Therefore, it is possible to automatically identify small passive UHF tags.
