Application of CORDIC Algorithm in Digital Scan Converter

The application of the digital scan converter in B-model ultrasonic diagnosis instrument can make modern B-model ultrasonic diagnosis instrument to carry out some new function such as congealment of picture,multi frame perseverance,measure and calculation of date,performance of TV.In the process of designing the B-model ultrasonic diagnosis instrument,the conversion from rectangular coordinate to polar coordinate is an important technology.A kind of new algorithm-CORDIC algorithm is introduced,and applied to the conversion of rectangular coordinate to polar coordinate.After carrying on algorithm correction and formula calculation,the algorithm is optimized according to its practical application,and its hardware structure is achieved.Finally,the use of algorithm is carried out software imitation and the result analysis is presented.
