Attribute Reduction of Interval-valued Information System Based on the Maximal Tolerance Class

Interval-valued information systems are generalized models of single-valued information systems.By introducing a variable precision tolerance relation and a kind of maximal variable precision tolerance class,this paper proposes the attribute reduction and the relative attribute reduction for its objectin interval-valued information systems.Furthmore,the paper difines a kind of discernibility function and relative discernibility function based on the discernibility matrix,and get the means of computing the attribute reduction and relative attribute reduction of interval-valued information system.
