Method and apparatus for deciding shuffling pattern in double space-time transmit diversity system using minimum signal to noise ratio

PURPOSE: A method and a device for determining shuffling patterns by using a minimum SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) in a DSTTD(Double Space-Time Transmit Diversity) system are provided to estimate a channel in a receiver, and to obtain a receiving SNR which directly influences an error performance from the estimated channel information, thereby improving the receiving performance. CONSTITUTION: A receiver estimates channel features to plural receiving antennas from plural transmission antennas(310), and obtains minimum receiving SNRs for all shuffling patterns by using the estimated channel features(320). The receiver selects a shuffling pattern having a maximum receiving SNR as an optimum shuffling pattern(330). The receiver feeds back information on the selected shuffling pattern to a transmitter(340).
