Non steady gas source localization algorithm for indoor environment using WSN

The gas source location algorithm based on wireless sensor network is known as an important research field. In this paper, an unsteady gas diffusion model without wind based on the gas diffusion theory is proposed firstly. Then two-dimensional gas concentration perception model is built for sensor nodes. Finally, the gas source location problem is transferred into a global optimization problem, and the centralized gas source localization algorithm based on MPGA (multiple population genetic algorithm) in two dimensional environments is proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the improved performance and the proposed algorithm is suit for the two-dimensional non-stationary gas source localization problem.
