The Bibliographical Resources of European Documentation Centres

The European Communities have established an international network of depository libraries. Those institutions granted the status of European Documentation Centre receive a broad range of Community documentation and publications free of charge and in the official language of their choice. At a time when libraries are increasingly being expected to provide both information and documentation on Community affairs, this paper seeks to improve general awareness of the resources of these rich research collections.
