An Eco-innovation Design Method by Integrating New TRIZ Eco-matrix with Biomimetic Concepts

Nowadays, technological developments often impacts environment. Businesses have always sought to make a profit and design the innovation products, but usually neglect its environmental impacts. Besides, pollution occurs during the manufacture of products and materials. This paper describes a method that is designed to simplify the TRIZ contradiction matrix with new parameters of eco-innovation to create the new eco-matrix, and establish the connection between new eco-matrix and biomimetic concepts. The designer can find suitable TRIZ inventive principles from new eco-matrix and get related biomimetic keywords from TRIZ inventive principles. The biomimetic keywords can reach some biology cases with some biomimetic design concepts.
