Pig walking posture identification system and method based on outline invariant moment features

The invention discloses a pig walking posture identification method based on outline invariant moment features and a system adopting the same. The method comprises the following features that: acquiring pig walking posture video images through a video image acquisition system, extracting the outline of the moving object pig from video sequences through comprehensively adopting a background subtraction method, utilizing the invariance of the edge moment for extracting the outline features of the pig walking posture, and realizing the identification for the pig walking posture through a template matching and classification method.
