HIGH-INTERNAL-PHASE-RATIO EMULSIONS; PUMPING STUDIES

The rheology of High-Internal-Phase-Ratio emulsions has received only limited attention. Single point viscometers yield meaningless data. Limited attempts in the use of laboratory rheometers have also produced confusing results. This paper reports the results of pumping High-Intemal-Phase Ratio emulsions through a small, pilot scale, pipe loop.
