A Survey on the Effectiveness of Vocabulary Learning Based on TBL in a Primary School

This article aims to find out whether TBL can improve students' vocabulary learning in an effective way.On the basis of relevant theory of TBL,some tasks are designed and implemented among students of Grade 4,a primary school in Nanjing.Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews are employed to collect the data.And the findings show that TBL can improve students' learning interest and vocabulary learning to some extent and the effectiveness of vocabulary learning is improved as well.
