Toward A Performing Resource Provisioning Model for Hybrid Cloud

Thisarticledescribeshowtheideaofahybridcloudcomesfromthecouplingofpublicandprivate cloudstomoreefficientlyaddressuserrequirements.Thisarticleaddressestheproblemofresource provisioning in hybrid cloud. This article is mainly concerned about optimizing the resources provisioningtaskthroughthereductionofthetaskscompletiontimetogetherwithminimalcostand morereliableservices.Twostepsareconsideredintheproposedmodel,whicharebrokeringand scheduling.Inthebrokeringstrategy,thisarticleformalizestheproblemasaminimizationproblem ofthecompletiontimeastheobjectivefunction,undercostandservicereliabilityconstraints.The schedulingstrategycontainstwophases:(i)usethebalancedk-meansmethodtoclassifythesubmitted tasksand,(ii)performaminimumassignmentusingtheHungarianalgorithm.Theproposedmodel isevaluatedwithinthesimulationframeworkCloudSim.Experimentalresultsdemonstratethatthe provisioningmodelsignificantlyreducesboththeresponsetimeandtheslowdownofuser’srequests fordifferentschedulingalgorithms.
