The purpose of this study is to search the design considerations
for open spaces of high-rise buildings for the improvement of
urban enviornment.
As the result of the study, it has been found that the problems
of pertinent regulations, parking areas, physical components of
open spaces including street furniture and sculptures, the uses
of lower frontages of buildings, and the concept of urban design
should be considered carefully for the open space design of
high-rise buildings in Seoul.
