An extensive bibliography is given and the details of the analyses in these papers are also discussed briefly in order to illustrate the development of theoretical and analytical technique. The relevant theoretical information for shear buckling and for the determination of buckling under combined stress systems including shear is presented graphically in the form of data sheets.
