Design of Non-invasive Pulse Oximetry Surveillance System

Oxygen is the basis of metabolism,as an important indicator of measuring health condition,oxygen saturation has numerous applications in clinical medicine and home health care.In this paper,non-invasive pulse oximetry surveillance system was designed based on digital oxygen probe with TI's ultra-low power MSP430 microcontroller as the core of this system and serial communication was implemented between upper machine and lower machine based on VC.Circuit design was simplified,the cost and area of this circuit was reduced in this scheme based on digital oxygen probe,so it can well meet the demands of markets.
