PURPOSE: A method for zapping content and a display apparatus for implementing the same are provided to rapidly access to a multimedia content by accessing the multimedia content from a browser level. CONSTITUTION: A display device receives a screen switching command about one or more broadcast channels or one or more content. The display device converts one or more broadcast channel corresponding to the received screen conversion command or to a browser which offers the one or more contents in the order of the prestored list.
