Research on embedded vehicle image monitoring algorithms based on DSP

MPEG-4 video encoder is used to satisfy requirements of the public transport's monitoring system. There exist many problems. These problems are that in the transmission of each macro block cache is deficiency seriously and video's frame rate sequence is low. The optimization of motion estimation algorithm, DCT optimization, optimization of SAD, optimization of pixel interpolation, increase of the pre-zero DCT coefficient of the whole identification algorithm and optimization of the MPEG-4 video encoder on TMS320C6455 DSP platform are put forward in this paper.
