For the requirement of precision tracking and measurement of the pulse doppler (PD) radar seeker, interpolation fast Fourier transform(FFT) combined with phase-differenced frequency discrimination is studied and used for velocity tracking and measuring, and mono-pulse method is used for angle tracking and measuring. According to the requirement of miniaturization design of the digital intermediate frequency (IF) receiver, core subsystems are respectively designed based on FPGA or DSP. Through effective conformity of the various subsystems, miniaturized and digitized IF receiver is designed and realized based on the system function decompose. The test results prove that the receiver meets the design requirements in structure and performance.
