Narrowband Interference Cancellation in an UWB Filter Bank Receiver

In this article we will briefly describe the performance of a single user UWB* communication system with time hopping pulse position modulation, TH-PPM, by applying the ideal rake, IRAKE, and partial rake, PRAKE, and filter bank receiver. These receivers have been evaluated in several scenarios, such as line of sight, LOS, and extremely non line of sight, ENLOS, and have had their performances compared by taking into account the bit error rate, BER, capacity of the channel and signal to interference ratio, SIR.
