The control system based on the multiscalar model of the double fed machine is presented in the paper. Nonlinear feedback transforms the system into two independent linear subsystem. Estimation of variables including the rotor position has been applied to the system. The active and reactive powers of the stator are controlled using PI controllers. Oscillations in an uncontrolled part of the machine are well damped. Delay caused by digital realization of the control algorithm is compensated for in the system. No mutual dependence of transients of the active power on reactive power are observed and the system is stable. Fast oscillations of the rotor speed cased by variable torque produced by the wind does not influence the active power of the generator. Results of simulations are presented.
