PURPOSE: To provide a travel controller for supporting the safety travel of its own vehicle by acquiring various kinds of traffic information in the surroundings of its own vehicle by communication between the vehicles and controlling various controllers furnished in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: This controller is constituted by providing an inter vehicle communication means 10, a traveling information processing part 20, the storage part 30 of data added with a map, a travel control part 40, and a cab controller communicating part 50. Thus, since the traveling information of other vehicles traveling in the surroundings of its own vehicle can be collected, and the state of traffic in the surroundings can be grasped before-hand, and prescribed control for safety can be executed, the travel controller to contribute to preventive safety can be realized and the safety during travel can be improved.
