High Order Thinking, Problem Based and Project Based Learning in Blended Learning Environments

High order thinking and problem solving are necessary skills in our fast-paced world requiring dealing with large chunks of knowledge, making meaning and transferring in very short times. Problem based learning and project based learning facilitate meaningful learning, development of complex skills and independent learner proficiency (For example: Tarhan 2007; Hmelo-Silver, 2004).
